南加大27日公布了大学的最新国际学生统计数据，称该大学目前的学生结构是132年建校历史中最为多元的一年。在所有新入学的本科生中，人数最多的是中国留学生，有94人；其次是韩国，有40人；第三位的是加拿大，有26人；印度有18人；中国台湾有24人；香港有9人。南加大校方表示，在所有新入学的本科生中，21%是少数族裔学生，其中有6%是非洲裔、13%是拉丁裔，2%是本土印第安和岛屿族裔。在所有少数族裔中，亚裔的比重最大，达到23%。
