中新网10月8日电据香港明报报道，手机、计算机近年已成为市民生活一部分，理大眼科视光学院为约5000名中小学生进行视力测试及问卷调查，发现近半小学生及七成中学生有近视，一成中学生有深度近视；逾七成学生用计算机时太近屏幕。负责调查的视光学专家表示，学童常忽略眼睛健康，家长及教师应避免他们长期使用电子产品。

    理大眼科视光学院联同香港儿科基金，去年2月起为15间中小学校、逾3000名小学生及2000名中学生进行视力检查及问卷调查。结果发现，近半小学生及七成中学生有近视，受访中学生有近一成近视度数高于600。理大眼科视光学院主任林小燕指出，近视度数超过600等同深度近视，会较常人容易患上眼疾，如白内障及青光眼等。

    调查亦以问卷方式访问学生的用眼习惯及护眼知识，结果发现，逾七成学生用计算机时与屏幕距离少于50厘米，近七成表示在学习及玩手机游戏时距离少于30厘米。同时，逾八成学生不知道需定期检查眼睛，三成学生在过去两年没有接受任何眼睛检查，只有两成学生知道深近视与眼疾有很大关系。
