这是东方出版社优秀童书进校园的第一站，《小猪摇摆夫人》这套丛书的编辑和译者杨东龙先生一行来到孩子们中间，跟孩子们一起分享"小猪摇摆"夫人那些好玩、有趣又有实用价值的故事。

　　在活动一开始的开场白中，杨东龙先生在谈到好习惯的重要性时讲到了这么一个故事——1988年，75位诺贝尔奖获得者在巴黎聚会。会议期间，有人问一位诺贝尔奖获得者："您在哪所大学、哪个实验室学到了您认为最重要的东西呢？"说到这里，杨东龙先生停顿了一下，问孩子们："你们觉得这位诺贝尔获奖者会怎么回答呢？"

　　孩子们开始踊跃发言，有的说是哈佛，有的说是剑桥，还有的说是书本。杨东龙先生笑了笑公布了答案，那位诺贝尔获奖者的回答是："是在幼儿园。" 记者追问"您在幼儿园学到了些什么呢？" "把自己的东西分一半给小伙伴们；不是自己的东西就不要拿；所有物品要摆放整齐；吃饭前要洗手；做错了事情要表示歉意；午饭后要休息；要仔细观察周围的大自然。从根本上说，我学到的全部东西就是这些。"

　　在互动环节，张芬编辑问大家："如果你们不小心做错了事，或者有了不好的习惯，你们的爸爸妈妈是怎么对待你们的呢？比如不好好收拾自己的玩具或者不爱洗澡。"这个问题一下在孩子们中间炸开了锅，有的回答说肯定被爸爸狂周揍一顿或者被妈妈像唐僧那样念叨死。于是张芬编辑说："那要是这样的话，建议你们把这套书也带给你们的爸爸妈妈看看，让他们看看这个世界上最受孩子喜欢的‘小猪摇摆’夫人是怎么样来帮助孩子们改掉这些坏习惯的，她的方法不但好玩有趣，而且非常管用。同时，跟你们的爸爸妈妈一起来读这套书，还会增进你们彼此的了解，让你以后跟爸爸妈妈像朋友那样相处。"
