论坛由中国传媒大学与首都女新闻工作者协会共同主办。“媒介与女性”教席成立于2005年9月，由中国传媒大学党委副书记刘利群担任主持人，旨在拓展“媒介与女性”学术研究与社会实践、推动媒介在性别公平上发挥更大作用、促进女性发展与社会进步。中国传媒大学媒介与女性研究中心是教席的执行机构。(记者李蕾)
