　　1978年出生的邓飞，自大三实习始，便一头扎进了媒体圈。在十余年调查记者生涯中，他一直把自己定位为一个直面现实、揭露腐败的监督者。他写下的调查报道，内容涉及福利院、水库移民、死刑犯、官员贪腐等诸多领域，不少报道引发社会热议。

　　2008年3月，湖北人彭高峰3岁的儿子在深圳被人拐走，这位执着的父亲开始了漫长的寻子路。3年后，通过微博，彭高峰意外地在江苏一个村庄里找到儿子。邓飞对亲子相认的过程进行了全程微博直播，引起了国内各媒体的广泛关注。

　　蔡加芹的那一句“学生中午只能用凉水充饥”，让邓飞想到了自己4岁的女儿。为此，他和几个同行走进贵州山区，亲眼目睹了乡村小学生的午餐状况。当天，在微博中他这样写到，“我们尝试在该校建一个食堂，推动中国贫困山区的免费午餐计划。”

　　邓飞：作为一个调查记者，我必须非常客观、严谨，它让我保持了生命中那些公平、正直的品性。我不会给人贴标签，可以和任何人平等地交往，并保持合作。这为我以后转向执行奠定了很好的基础。

　　我建立了一个群，团结了国内500名调查记者和编辑，这是一个激情燃烧的10年，我们这些伙伴相互帮助、相互支持。当时中国所有大事件，我们都有人在。这500人，后来就成了我做公益的基本力量。

　　邓飞：以前我们推动改变，是通过报道去揭露真相，制造的是一种愤怒的力量，然后使这种力量形成一股巨大的压力，迫使有关方面去改变。

　　邓飞：以前做记者，我梦想的是，中国也能出现一次“扒粪运动”。

　　现在的梦想是扎根到乡村里去，去帮助那里的儿童，特别是5800万留守儿童。我觉得，我们国家就像是一部跑车，在高速公路上一路狂奔，但如果地盘不稳，就会容易出事。乡村就是中国跑车的地盘，乡村儿童则是中华民族的地盘。

　　目前，我做的4个项目中，有3个是与留守儿童相关的。我们可以将免费午餐学校作为基点，结合孩子们的需求来发展项目。现在平台已经基本搭建了起来，我想把它做大后，形成一个平台，就叫“免费午餐生态圈”。在这个生态圈中，各个相关的项目都是各以独立的团队进行运作的。“免费午餐生态圈”升级后，就是“乡村儿童帮助大联盟”。

　　明年我们会先建一个网站，把所有的项目都放到里面去交融、交织；第二，会制定一个联系常态工作机制；第三，明年我们将带着愿意到乡村去的志愿者、记者、大学生，一起去了解孩子们的需求。在这个基础上，我们回到城市联系资源去帮助他们。
