日前，第三届中国长江—美国密西西比河战略合作论坛（简称中美两江论坛）在湖北武汉举行。交通运输部规划研究院有关人员应邀参加了论坛并发表专题演讲。通过参加本次论坛，部规划院进一步加强了同国内外相关机构的交流与合作。

　　本次论坛围绕“航运中心——多式联运与枢纽港建设”的主题展开了深入探讨，内容涉及中美两国在内河水运建设方面的成就、经验、面临的问题以及未来发展方向等多个方面。交通运输部规划研究院院长李兴华发表了题为“建设武汉航运中心，打造区域经济新引擎”的专题演讲，对相关战略背景及长江水运发展现状进行了概述，并从国内外航运中心总体特征出发，全面系统地分析了武汉长江中游航运中心的功能定位、系统构成及建设推进重点。

　　论坛由中国交通运输协会和美国运输与物流协会、武汉市人民政府、交通运输部长江航务管理局共同主办。来自中美两国的相关政府部门负责人、科研机构专家、港口航运企业高管及沿江省市代表共300余人参加了论坛。
