大学新生报名在即，昨日记者获悉，武汉市将首次对城乡低保困难家庭大学新生实施临时救助。

　　武汉市民政局、市残联、市财政局近日联合下发通知，凡武汉市低保困难家庭中被正式录取的应届大学生(含高职高专)，无论是城镇户口还是农村户口，家庭无力支付学费的，均可申请一次性新生入学困难救助，救助标准是专科生2000元，本科生3000元。

　　符合条件的申请对象，自8月20日至9月20日向所在居(村)委会提出申请，同时提供居民户口簿、身份证、低保证等相关证件和材料，以及高等院校录取通知书、就读学校的缴费收据原件和复印件。申报采取个人申请与社区(村)初审，街(乡镇)复核，以及区级民政部门的三级审核，前两级审核将于10月1日前完成，区民政部门审批将于10月15日前完成。申请成功后救助金将通过银行一次性发放到户。
