在全国第28个教师节来临之际，一场以"师爱无尘"为主题的北京市庆祝教师节大型公益活动，持续两天在朝阳区红领巾公园举行。来自全市的100多名优秀教师，以最真实的行动响应着"过一个奉献充实的教师节"的倡议。本次活动由北京教育音像报刊总社联合北京教育新闻中心、朝阳区教委共同主办。

　　针对社会上对"教师节收礼"的讨论，由北京市委教育工作委员会、北京市教育委员会主办的《现代教育报  教师周刊》倡导"教师节新风气"，向全体教师发出"过一个奉献充实的教师节"倡议。这一倡议率先得到朝阳区教委的呼应，招募了50多名特级教师为学生和家长义务提供教育咨询。截止到记者发稿，这一倡议还得到了全市200多名教师的呼应，他们不仅呼应拒绝收礼的教师节新风气，还自愿报名践行"过一个奉献充实的教师节"。
