我并非反对莫言作品进入教材,但语文教材的编写者直到人家获得诺贝尔文学奖才想起选用人家作品,难道莫言之前的名气不够大,各位都没读过他的作品?如果读过,为什么那个时候没想到选用莫言作品入教材?难道优秀的作品非得用一项什么大奖来证明其价值?这实在让人对语文教材编写更不放心,各位准备编写教材的时候,心里有没有个准谱?干脆直说了吧,编委以及主管方面对语文教材究竟有个怎样的价值观?我们的语文教材核心价值是什么?

且不说当前的语文教材编写还没有找到方向也没有明确的核心价值,就算语文教材完美得空前绝后,我们的学生也没必要甚至根本就不应该在教材上花那么多的精力。如果我们的学生能把那么多被教材教辅浪费的时间节省出来,摆脱教材的束缚,去读“课外书”,无须教材特意安排,他们也早该认识莫言了解诺贝尔文学奖了,他们的视野应该能够超越教材超越诺贝尔文学奖或者别的什么奖了,他们的文化素养肯定比教材编写者以及主管方面设想的要高很多。

莫言入不入教材,在我看来其实无关紧要,但重要的是,必须能够让学生有足够的时间可以多读几本教材之外的书,有阅读的自由,有独立思考的空间。至少,我们应该努力做到,使教材不再主导学生们的生活,也不再决定他们的命运,更不能限制他们的思想。无论课堂学习还是课外阅读都摒弃了功利化,都成为快乐的享受,都成为潜移默化促进人生向上的阶梯,难道不是更有意义?
