　　1912年，国立北京医科专门学校建立。1946年，北京大学在北平复建，当时的北平临时大学补习班第六分班并入北大，成为北大医学院。1952年全国高校院系调整，医学院脱离北大，独立建院，命名为“北京医学院”。1985年，北京医学院更名为北京医科大学。2000年，北京医科大学与北京大学合并组建新北大，北大医学部成立。
