云南省西双版纳傣族自治州委宣传部通报，21日下午，云南省疾病预防控制中心副主任赵世文表示，西双版纳州民族中学聚集性腹泻事件原因已查明，系沙门氏菌感染引起的聚集性腹泻事件。

　　据介绍，连日来，省、州检验人员进行了系统的流行病学调查，从21份患者的肛试标本中检出4份沙门氏菌。21日11时40分，专家组再次召开分析会，经过省、州两级疾控临床专家共同分析，同意将西双版纳州民族中学“10.17”聚集性腹泻事件定性为沙门氏菌感染引起的聚集性腹泻事件。在病因的确定上，专家们一致认为是由食品或饮用水被病菌污染引起的感染。但由于食品标本采集不全，对食品的检测工作还未结束，相关的溯源工作仍在进一步进行中。
