2013年1月5日，校车安全管理部际联席会议第二次会议在京召开。会议总结了2012年校车安全管理工作情况，通报了各地贯彻落实《校车安全管理条例》（以下简称《条例》）专项督查情况，分析了校车安全管理面临的形势，并就2013年校车安全管理工作做出部署。联席会议副召集人、公安部副部长黄明主持会议，受联席会议召集人、教育部部长袁贵仁委托，联席会议副召集人、教育部副部长刘利民讲话，联席会议成员和联络员出席。
