　　委员刘丽认为，艺术可以让学生“发现美、欣赏美、向往美、鉴别美、体现美、创造美”，在塑造良好人格、提高精神境界方面有着不可替代的作用。当前云南高校学子面临着学业、就业等方面的压力等，一些大学生也因此出现迷茫、压抑的情绪，甚至导致心理问题。学习艺术类课程不仅可以陶冶情操，也有利于学生创造性思维的培养，但是目前云南9所高校基本未专门开设艺术类课程。
