近日，笔者在人人网发起一个问卷调查，题目是：“您有提笔忘字的现象吗？”共收到有效问卷80份（参与调查者均为大学学历）。挑选部分常用汉字如：牙膏、大酱、辣椒、朦胧、龋齿，踽踽独行、针灸等，进行测试，结果显示:“酱、膏”，80人中有1/3的人没有写对；“朦胧”，有9/10的人没有写对；而“踽踽独行”中的“踽”，“龋齿”的“龋”，情况更不容乐观，全军覆没。当被问及提笔忘字的原因时，80人中有84%回答是：长期使用电脑输入，造成提笔忘字。离开纸笔、亲近键盘，闯入网络时代的汉字书写，让大学生不会写字。提笔忘字现象令人堪忧。

　　作家王蒙曾言：“遗失了中国的传统文化之精髓与汉字原形，我们成了数典忘祖的新文盲。”教育部前副部长、国家语委前主任赵沁平教授痛陈，现在很多学生写字时只知道字的大概形状，但具体怎么写就不会了，因为使用电脑时这个字很快就能打出来。长期使用电脑导致学生提笔忘字，这与一个书法大国很不匹配。

　　当被问到“怎么看待自己提笔忘字的现象”时，在80份被随机抽查的对象中，只有4人认为这种现象应该重视，仅占总人数的1/20。来自北京航空航天大学的张飞说，提笔忘字当然不是我们所希望的，但现在大家工作压力很大，要是靠逐字去写而完成一个课题，那黄花菜都凉了！再说了，网上不是照样能写出优美的书法来嘛！

　　北京师范大学中文系王宁教授认为，文字不仅仅是简单地传播信息，其本身就是文化的载体。如果一切都标准化，社会就没有了审美，也就变得贫乏而丧失了想象力。汉字是人类所创造的最为抽象的艺术，是中华文明的标志，又是传承中华文化的工具。如何应对提笔忘字，是在考验我们对待母语文字的态度。

　　北京大学中文系教授苏培成说，疏于手写，是很多人写不好字、写不对字的主要“元凶”。此外，少儿阶段的汉字书写基础打得不牢也是一个很重要的原因。目前我国中小教学计划中，语文课虽占有较大比重，但在教学过程中却忽视了书写汉字的基本训练。近闻一些地方把IPAD引进小学课堂，这或许也将影响小学生的汉字书写训练。
