据中国之声《新闻纵横》报道，幼儿园建在公厕上，南宁市最近备受关注的就是这样一张照片：地下一层是公共厕所，公厕经常有人进出方便。一层和二层都是幼儿园，幼儿园外用铁栏杆围起一小块空地，楼里只有一个楼梯通上二三层。

　　外人嫌弃，家长却喜欢。而当地教育部门则表示，"五彩幼儿园"的现址存在靠近污染源、没有围墙、靠近集贸市场等多项安全环境和污染源问题，不符合《广西壮族自治区幼儿园办园基本标准》，且幼儿园迁址后没有备案变更、没有经过审批，就算是"五星级厕所"也必须停办。 "五彩幼儿园"里一名老师告诉记者，幼儿园盖在厕所上是"好心办了坏事"。对此，幼儿园负责人莫老师表示，"五彩幼儿园"成立于2004年，因原来租赁的园址被收回另作他用，便于不久前搬到现址。面对幼儿园刚刚开好就得关门的结局，她也觉得很委屈。
