2012年度全球孔子学院年会，国家汉办主任许琳女士为首套面向海外孔子学院的“中华传统文化教育系列教程”主持了首发式。该教程的成功研发，标志着中国将系统地向世界输出传统哲学思想和道德价值观等主流思想，预示着我国汉文化国际传播能力和国家文化软实力的整体提高，同时也展示出我国高度的民族文化自觉与自信。

　　孔子学院作为传播中华文化的世界平台、文化走出去的重要途径，从2004年在韩国首尔开办第一家至今，已在世界105个国家和地区开设了350多所学院和500多个课堂，还有76个国家的400多个机构正在等待着建立孔子学院和孔子课堂。孔子学院海外汉语教学应该分为三个层次：第一个层次是听、说、读、写等语言能力和简单交际能力的培养；第二个层次是对中国社会风俗习惯和中国人生活方式的了解；第三个层次则是中国传统文化核心价值观的教育和普及。

　　此套教程暂定名为《中华传统文化视听读本》，是以近日刚刚发行的人教版中小学“传统文化教育”课本为基础，在汉办相关领导的支持下，依托“十二五”规划课题《中国传统文化与当代教育》的科研成果，由孔子学院万卷国际汉语推广基地和中国国学文化艺术中心联合编著，其在内容上选取了《弟子规》《三字经》《声律启蒙》《论语》《孟子》《孙子兵法》《大学》《中庸》《道德经》等国学文化经典课程，同时系统地介绍了《中国传统历法与节日》《茶文化》《玉文化》《中国传统书法欣赏》《中国传统绘画欣赏》《中国传统音乐欣赏》《中国传统曲艺欣赏》等内容，形成完整的传统文化与艺术兼容并重的教学体系。它更加注重中华民族价值观念、精神追求、哲学思想和社会伦理道德的传播，不仅在编排上适合外国人学习，又较为全面和系统地反映了“中华优秀传统文化”最具当代价值的文化内涵。按照课题组工作计划，2012年出版英文版教程，2013年出版法文和韩文版教程，以后以每年两个语种的速度完成系列产品的研发。

　　笔者采访“十二五”阶段《中国传统文化与当代教育》课题组执行主任张健，谈到“十二五”阶段课题研究，在国内部分以“传统文化教育”师资培养和学科教育科研两个方向为主；在海外部分以“汉文化国际传播”有效应用和商业模式研究两个方向为主，既要找到外国人对于中国文化的真实需求，还要探求并创建传统文化海外产业化之路。目前有一个最大的困难制约着项目的实施：我们的民族文化自信强劲但自觉不足。在全世界都认同中国文化并且对其表示敬畏的今天，国人对传统文化却颇有微词，并且还未形成传统文化普及教育体系。
