据越南媒体报道，今年以来，越南对欧盟服装纺织品出口下滑，1－10月出口额21亿美元，比上年同期下降5%。由于欧洲经济不景气，越南纺织服装企业虽在欧盟有许多老客户，但出口订单仍明显减少。

　　值得注意的是，欧盟经济危机使欧元出现较大波动且持续贬值，而越南对欧盟出口以欧元结算，从中国、台湾地区、泰国等地进口原材料则以美元结算，汇差使企业利润进一步减少。越南纺织品协会认为，2013年越南对欧盟出口服装纺织品仍面临较大困难。
