据报道 最高人民法院、最高人民检察院关于危害食品安全犯罪的司法解释4日开始实施。司法机关表示，进口食品涉嫌犯罪同样会被追究刑事责任。

　　两高危害食品安全犯罪司法解释出台后，最高人民法院相关负责人表示，虽然司法解释没有对进口食品单独进行说明，但依据我国法律的基本原则和规定，进口食品如果出现涉嫌犯罪的各类情形，将同样进行惩处。北京第一中级人民法院刑二庭副庭长陶炜表示，进口食品或者进口食品添加剂在生产或销售过程中如果出现了不符合安全标准或掺入有毒有害原料的，足以造成严重食物中毒事故或者其他严重食源性疾病的，相关责任人员应当承担相应的刑事责任。
