【环球网报道  记者 赵小侠】近年来，有关“中国需求”滋生非法贸易的报道频频见诸西方媒体。法新社等外国媒体11月29日又援引总部位于伦敦的非政府组织“环境调查组织（EIA）”的报告渲染称，由于中国市场需求旺盛，而中国本身又实施退耕还林政策无法满足市场需要，因此中国已经成为了“非法木材贸易的集散地”。与此同时，中国附近的湄公河地区甚至非洲都“深受此影响”。
