2012年是中国-东盟自由贸易区全面建成的第3年，我省外经贸企业把握住了绝大部分商品零关税的机遇，积极申报原产地证、利用人民币跨境结算的优惠政策，使云南对东盟贸易从2009年的30亿美元快速增长到60亿美元以上的规模，实现三年倍增。

　　经过几年来“调结构、转方式”的努力，我省对东盟大宗商品进口工作成效明显，东盟已经成为我省大宗商品的重要进口来源地。不但从总量上切实拉动了我省贸易规模扩大，也有利于我省外贸结构改善和国际收支平衡，有利于补充和支持国内市场、形成内外贸产业联动。从去年1-11月的情况来看，最有特色的进口商品是棕榈液油和金属锡。其中棕榈液油进口9.3亿美元，同比增长62.47%，丰富了国内消费市场；而金属锡进口2.35亿美元，同比增长155%，反映出我省出口加工贸易发展的新趋势。农产品成为全省对东盟最大出口商品，出口额9.6亿美元，增长18.4%。同时，对东盟农产品需求持续快增，进口额12亿美元，增幅达58.9%。随着下半年以来边贸出口的恢复增长，机电产品和纺织品出现了较大增长，分别同比增长18.15%和10.75%。
