2012年7月份我国进口棉花数量较前一月略有减少，但仍维持在高位，平均价格持平略增。据海关统计，2012年7月我国进口棉花40.6万吨，较上月减少7万吨，跌幅14.7%；同比增加24.9万吨，增幅158%；平均进口价格2391美元/吨，较6月上涨12美元，同比下跌了71.9%.

　　2011/12年度（2011年9月-2012年7月），我国累计进口棉花513万吨，同比增长117%。2012年前7个月共进口346.1万吨，同比增长133.4%。
