世界贸易组织（WTO）在22日发表的全球贸易风险分析报告中表示，受欧债危机拖累，将今年全球贸易增速预期由此前做出的3.7%下调至2.5%；将2013年全球贸易增速预期由此前做出的5.6%下调至4.5%。WTO表示，该判断是基于今明两年全球经济将分别增长2.1%和2.4%的预估。

　　WTO预计，今年发达经济体出口增速将从此前的2%下降至1.5%，新兴经济体的出口增速将从此前的5.6%下降至3.5%；2013年发达经济体出口增速可达到3.3%，新兴经济体的出口增速可达到5.7%。WTO表示，2013年的预测数值基于两点，一是目前欧洲的一系列举措足以避免欧元区分裂；二是美国政府达成稳定公共财政协议并在明年初避免自动减支和增税。

　　WTO总干事拉米表示，“今年全球贸易增速不及前20年平均值的一半，贸易量的变动低于全球经济增长步伐，全球贸易面临下行风险”，尽管美国经济增速慢于预期，日本的情况也不容乐观，但全球经济放缓的主要原因在欧洲。
