2012年12月5日，新加坡农粮局发布公告，由于中国报道辽宁省大连市普湾新区爆发口蹄疫，农粮局已经暂停进口辽宁省的冷冻猪肉和猪肉产品，但经过处理的且符合世界动物卫生组织第8.5.34准则陆生动物卫生法典的灭活口蹄疫病毒的猪肉产品不暂停进口。
