上月金价大跌，令到不少内地投资者专诚来香港入市，把金条、金饰均一扫而空。金银业贸易场理事长张德熙表示，希望在前海地区建立金条银条的贸易中心，将金银业贸易场的百年品牌引入内地。虽然如此，跨境金银交收涉及外汇管制等问题，需要政策配合才可以成事。

　　张德熙说构思中的贸易中心，是可以做到跨境交收，例如把金、银存放在前海的仓库之后，向在香港的金商提取现金；或者在香港付款然后在前海提取金、银实货。虽然如此，他说这项构思涉及外汇管制，要由前海的管理层向中央争取相关的政策，才有机会实施。
