据美国制造业生产力与创新联盟最新发布的贸易逆差报告称，持续的贸易逆差继续对美国的制造业就业状况造成影响。

　　MAPI在8月29日发布的这份最新的贸易逆差报告称，相比2011年，2012年上半年美国制造类相关的全球贸易逆差额攀升了7％，即150亿美元，而中国的贸易顺差又猛增了24％，即增加了670亿美元。

　　MAPI说，制成品是主要的贸易领域，在中国的商品出口中所占比例高达约95％，在美国的这一比例约为75％，MAPI称，美国有2／3的民用研究与开发和新专利来自制造业。

　　MAPI说，美国从中国进口的制成品比美国对中国的同类出口多出六倍以上。Preeg说：“美国对中国的双边贸易逆差总额为1620亿美元，在2280亿美元的美国全球贸易逆差总额中所占比例达到71％，而中国的全球贸易顺差中有近一半来自美国。”
