9月13日欧洲议会通过暂免自巴基斯坦输入的纺织、成衣及鞋类等特定品项的进口关税，欧洲纺织业者咸表关切此举可能产生的潜在影响。欧洲纺织服装联盟(EURATEX)产业国贸部门主管LuisaSantos指出，该暂免关税措施”帮到不该帮的人且将对欧盟纺织业，特别是棉纺织业造成影响”。
