出于对日本核泄漏的担忧，东盟一些国家一直没有放松对进口日本食品的检查。泰国食品与药品委员会秘书长日前表示，由于日本福岛县近海区域出现核污染，铯含量严重超标，导致该海域大量海洋生物遭到污染，因此泰国食品与药品委员会将加强对从日本进口的食物进行放射性物质检验的一系列措施，防止核污染给泰国食品安全带来威胁。
