欧盟驻巴基斯坦代表团日前发布一份新闻稿称，欧盟对巴自主贸易优惠政策已于11月14日起正式生效，有效期将至2013年12月31日。根据该政策，欧盟将对巴产品进入欧盟市场提供一系列优惠待遇。其中，巴75种产品（大部分为纺织品）享受零关税进入欧盟市场。该政策实施将极大刺激巴对欧盟出口，尤其是纺织品和服装类出口，并对巴就业增长带来积极影响。2010年夏季巴基斯坦爆发特大洪灾后，欧盟提出对巴出口提供优惠，以帮助其弥补洪灾造成的损失。
