据越南《经济时报》12月28日报道，越南美国商会（AmCham Vietnam）日前发布了越美贸易关系评估报告称，2011年越美双边贸易额为218亿美元，同比增长17.5%。其中，越对美出口175亿美元，增长18%；自美进口43亿美元，增长17%。在美商务部2012年前10个月统计数据的基础上，AmCham预测全年越美双边贸易额或达246亿美元，同比增长12.8%。其中，越对美出口达200亿美元（增长14%），自美进口46亿美元（增长7%）。至2013年，越美双边贸易额或超过270亿美元。其中，越对美出口225亿美元，自美进口仅50亿美元。至2015年，双边贸易额或达330亿美元。其中，越南出口270亿美元，自美进口超60亿美元。

　　2012年越对美纺织服装出口或仅为78亿美元，比2011年的72亿美元增长8%，低于2010年和2011年两位数的增长水平。2013年越对美纺织服装出口或达84亿美元，2014年或增至91亿美元，2015年为97亿美元。越南纺织服装对美出口或因成本上升、面临来自印度、印尼、孟加拉和墨西哥的竞争以及美国市场衰退而继续减缓。
