越南2012年橡胶出口量达101万吨，创汇28.5亿美元，出口量同比增长23.8%，成为继泰国和马来西亚之后的世界第三大天然橡胶出口国。

　　截至2012年底，越南橡胶种植面积达91.05万公顷，已超过越南2015年橡胶种植面积达到80万公顷的计划目标。越南总理近日批准越南橡胶工业集团2012年至2015年阶段重组提案，即保留越南橡胶工业集团(母公司)在22家成员责任有限公司持有的100%股权，在18家股份公司持有的50%股权以及在其他20家公司50%以下股权；从23家企业全部撤资，从两家企业部分撤资，对槟城橡胶股份公司进行增资以确保其控股权等；越南橡胶财政有限公司与越南橡胶工业集团进行合并。
