在此间举行的第九届中国有色金属产业链发展论坛上，国土资源部信息中心资深研究员张苺表示，尽管未来几年我国仍不断有新建矿山，但新增产能不能满足消费缺口，不足部分仍需靠进口补充，预计未来几年我国锌原料年均进口量将达20万吨。

　　近十年来，我国锌原料年均进口量近20万吨。张苺表示，我国锌消费量70％用于钢铁产品，钢铁工业高速扩张期已过，锌消费量增速将同步下降，但未来几年锌原料供需缺口仍将维持在过去十年的年均水平。
