据外媒报道，委内瑞拉石油部长拉斐尔 拉米雷斯表示，当前，委内瑞拉对中国的石油出口数量已提高至每日64万桶。

　　“以前，我们从未向中国出口过一桶石油；可是现在，我们每天将向中方出口64万桶……而且价格比在美国市场的还要高。”拉米雷斯在接受采访时说，委内瑞拉石油产出总量的2/3都将出口至美国和中国市场。

　　拉米雷斯指出，截至1999年，即查韦斯就任委内瑞拉总统以前，该国所有的石油产品几乎全部出口至美国；但1999年以后，委内瑞拉开始采取改革措施，逐步向中国、印度的日本等国出口石油。而正由于这项改革，“我们才不会受到美国和欧洲经济问题的影响，也免受美元贬值的牵连。”

　　拉米雷斯最后表示，除了上述合作内容，中国天然气集团公司2012年还计划向委内瑞拉投资超过40亿美元，以实施奥里诺科石油带开采项目。
