近日，外资机构巴克莱发布报告称，2012年发达经济体（不包括日本）的出口与GDP整体比值增大为31.2%，达到了新的高点；略高于之前在2008年达到的30.6%的高点；而与此相反，2012年新兴经济体的该比重为33.1%，低于2006年的创下的39.4%的高点。巴克莱认为，由于出口在这个时期里增长了17%，而GDP只增长了11%，导致发达经济体出口与GDP比值略增。金融危机后，新兴经济体采取促进国内需求的应对措施；发达经济体采取了抑制进口、鼓励出口政策，导致发达经济体的进口只增长了15.5%。巴克莱认为，发达经济体出口与GDP比值增大，而新兴经济体的出口与GDP比值缩减，全球贸易向发达国家倾斜。
